GANYMEDE GENERATION I

This software is usefull whenever you need to enter sensible data such as passwords or credit card numbers, on web sites or other programs. As for now, nearly all the security efforts are dedicated to the communication between a client and a server. Those efforts are absolutely necessary because if a malicious user intercepts your request and is able to read it, then your sensible data can be captured. This is why, encryption occurs before sending any sensible request to a server.

However, one serious security issue that is not handled by cryptography, is the moment where the user types the sensible data on his keyboard. Imagine you want to buy a book on amazon.com. The site is very well known and uses HTTPS for secure communications. What happens if a malicious program installed on your computer, monitores your key strokes ? well, no matter if the communication is encrypted or not, as soon as you type your credit card number on your keyboard, it will be logged prior to encryption. As a matter of fact, encryption occurs as soon as you submit your request, not when you are typing your informations on the browser.

Simply speaking, it is possible to create a virtual keyboard that uses the mouse instead of the keys. Such virtual boards appear on the screen and let the user interact with it in order to produce safe and stealth text. However, even virtual keyboards have a security vulnerability: as the mouse produces system messages, it is possible to record them secretly and then to play them back. As a consequence, it is possible to reproduce mouse clicks on the virtual keyboard and thus acquire the sensible data.

Ganymede Generation I is the very first software that blocks any keyloggers as well as any other system spyers. Ganymede transparently unables any system spyer being it a viruse or a custom program, without depending on the user. It also provides a virtual keyboard that cannot be monitored using system recorders.
